Awkwafina

American musician and actor Awkwafina debuted with sly hip-hop tracks that addressed sexual identity and race with a an incisive and humorous perspective, before expanding her reach into Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical career as a musician on the trumpet. She was born in Forest Hills Queens, she was a child of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. Apart from classical music and jazz, Nora Lum began studying hip-hop in her teens. When she was in the college years, she remained focused on her studies, and then studied women's studies as well as journalism. For a brief period during her time in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were also available. However, it wasn't until she graduated that she turned her attention to music. The song My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity on the Internet in 2012. It eventually made it in the album debut Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album also featured popular hits, including the body positive Queef as well as the cheeky hometown tour NYC Bitche$. The single that debuted was directly connected to The Awkwafinas Guide to NYC, her travel guide for 2015. The singer decided to make a career as an actor after completing her first two ventures as a musician and author. Alongside early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in the movies Neighbors 2 Storks & Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she got an array of noteworthy parts, including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released in June.
