Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero has been an actress and model in the United States for many years. She's best known for her role in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain as well as being the singer-in-chief of Apollonia 6, a girl group. The actor and singer who was christened Apollonia by Prince became one of many female artists in the '80s to benefit from her association with the Purple One. Apollonia was her first public appearance in 1988. But the R&B/dance album it was a bit stale and did not make a big impression with the music buyers of the period, was quickly wiped out. Apollonia continued to act (if somewhat under the radar) throughout the following decade. Small TV appearances small films and workout videos kept her busy. Apollonia recorded a Spanish/English Album entitled Stay with Me in 1997. Later, she returned to the school and received a degree in filmmaking which led to her forming a production company, often working on children's television. Apollonia holds a number of jobs.
