Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole daughter from Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former employee in a manufacturing plant. Her birth date was 10 March 1958, at Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her siblings. Stone was thought to be exceptionally gifted in her academics when she entered in the second grade at age five. She was a graduate of Saegertown High School, located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw her take home Miss Crawford County. Stone, along with her aunt in 1977, relocated into New Jersey for a modeling job. Stone signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week after. Then, she relocated back to Europe and spent the entire year in Milan in Italy and Paris. However, Stone became disillusioned with modeling and fashion in Europe she decided to pursue acting while in the country. Stone was in Woody Allen's movie "Stardust Memories" when he was 20. The film received mixed reactions.
