Kat Dennings (n e Katherine Victoria Litwack) was born on the 13th of June in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania. Ellen was Ellen's mother. She worked as poet and speech therapist. Gerald, her father was a professor and molecular pharmacist. Dennings is the smallest of five children, who was raised in a Jewish family. Dennings did not attend an established school for very long and instead was homeschooled. As she was attempting to get into acting at very young so the arrangement of homeschooling made the best sense, as she was able to finish high school at the age of fourteen. When she was just 9, she had started performing in commercials. When she graduated from high school, she moved with her family in Los Angeles in order to pursue acting. Kat Dennings, as she was referred to at the time, began auditioning. Kat Dennings made her acting debut following having moved to LA after appearing in HBO's "Sex and the City" in 2000. Then she appeared in an episode of a sitcom that aired on the WB network titled.
