In the magazine Vanity Fair from July 2003 the magazine featured her as one of the top teens of this year. In 2004 Vega recorded two films: Sleepover, and State's Evidence. In the Lifetime TV series Odd Girl Out as a cyberbully, she was in the year 2005. In 2006, she was a star in another TV film made specifically for the screen, Walkout; and finished filming Remember the Daze, which premiered in theaters with a limited release in April 2007. The filming was completed Repo! The Genetic Opera was released in 2008. 10 years ago, Vega was cast as her role as the principal in Helix that was directed and written by Aram Rappaport. Helix started filming in Chicago in March 2008. She was initially cast for Robert Rodriguez's 2009 Robert Rodriguez film Shorts. But due to the fact that she was travelling to Australia to film Broken Hill, the role as Vega in Shorts needed to be changed. The actress was replaced by Kat Dennings. Penny is her Broadway performance in Hairspray. Her role as Ruby Gallagher was on the ABC Family TV sitcom Ruby & the Rockits in 2009. It also featured Patrick Cassidy and David David Cassidy, and Patrick Cassidy. Vega is Wick one of the characters in The Devil's Carnival from 2012 the film of director Darren Lynn Bousman. Screenwriter Terrance Zudunich worked previously with Vega in the form of Repo! The Genetic Opera.
